CHS (working) Moms

Hi! That was a semi-deep introduction, so let’s have some fun here today!

Do you know why I named my instagram page: CHS (working) Moms? I actually started it as a joke, to be honest. I found it funny how if a Mom went to work after having a child that they were called a “Working” Mom – completely forgetting about the Mothers who are Stay at Home Moms. Then, on top of that, you never hear a Dad called a “Working” Dad if they leave the home for work after having a child. Every single parent out there is always working. You have to be on point at all hours of the day no matter what environment you are in – whether with the kiddos or at work or wherever.

Well, the page turned into something bigger than I could have imagined and it guided me to make a total rebrand of the term, “Working Mom.” That term encapsulates every single Mom out there and we should celebrate it from the rooftops. Supporting & Encouraging Moms in any stage of Motherhood.

Beyond Support, one of my big passion projects is shining light on all Moms. Coming in just 2 weeks, I’ll have a new series on my Instagram page featuring local Moms. It’s been a 6 month long project and since we’ve started working on this I’ve seen other influencers do highlight posts on Moms and only focus it on a promotion for their business. Don’t get me wrong – that’s absolutely great and a huge support for that group of Mothers. But, if you can’t tell, I’m a big fan of ‘no one left behind’ and find it both important and relatable to put the spotlight on ANY & ALL Moms.

I’m excited to bring a mixture of spotlights from Stay at Home Moms, Moms who Stay at Home AND also have a side hustle, The Career Mom, The Entrepreneur Mom, The Stay at Home AND Career Mom – the list goes on.

As a Mom who’s been every single one of those – I know it would be nice to see something familiar; a way to feel seen or heard. The best part – these features will also be right here on the Blog!
